Jason Gold – Chief Executive Officer
Jason Gold is President and Chief Executive Officer of KGRA Energy LP. Mr. Gold launched KGRA in 2009 and developed the corporation’s business model as a result of his many years studying renewable energy business models and technologies.
Over his 12+ year career as a portfolio manager and equity analyst on Wall Street, he developed extensive operational and investment experience in the field of renewable energy and in geothermal electricity production in particular. Through examining a myriad of business models and practices around the world, he developed a wide range of “best practices” that were used to develop and refine KGRA’s business model.
Prior to founding KGRA, Mr. Gold was the managing member of Aurarian Capital. He was also Director of Technology Research at SAC Capital Advisors and was a Partner at Andor Capital, which spun-out from Pequot Capital in 2001. Mr. Gold began his research career at Morgan Stanley as a research analyst and is an honors graduate of The University of Virginia.

Carter Brown – Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Brown is an expert in structuring, negotiating, and closing financial transactions. He brings a wealth of experience and relationships in the renewable energy industry to KGRA.
Prior to joining KGRA, Mr. Brown spent 7 years atInvenergy LLC, the fifth largest wind power developer in North America. At Invenergy, he focused on growing the company’s renewable energy business, where he managed the project finance group. Mr. Brown’s responsibilities included originating, structuring and closing debt and equity transactions, and related merger and acquisition activities to support Invenergy’s generation portfolio. While at Invenergy, he led the negotiation and execution of private equity investments and renewable project debt and equity financings. Mr. Brown has closed approximately $4 billion worth of transactions within the renewable energy industry.
Prior to joining Invenergy, Mr. Brown spent three years working in the energy industry. As cofounder and managing partner of Ecotopia LLC, he spearheaded the development of a marketing platform for an alternative energy appliance in the residential marketplace. Mr. Brown started his career in business development, spending more than four years working in various national and international markets. He has over 15 years of experience in business development and finance.
Mr. Brown has an MBA with concentrations in finance and managerial strategy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from Vanderbilt University.

Christine Capilouto – Business Development Specialist – Cement, Pulp & Paper, and Forest Products
Christine Capilouto is an experienced project development professional and manages KGRA’s development activities in the cement, pulp & paper, and forest products industries. Prior to working at KGRA, Ms. Capilouto was an attorney at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky& Walker (Europe) LLP in Paris, France. Ms. Capilouto holds a MBA degree from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and her law degree from the University of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas.
